A New Women's Forum for Leeds North East

Hello, my name is Sue Harris. I'm the Women's Officer for Leeds North East Labour Party.
I want to work with you to develop a Women's Forum for Leeds North East - an informal, inclusive and enjoyable space for women who are members of the Labour Party in our constituency.
There are many ways a Women's Forum could support our involvement in the Labour Party, including hosting discussions, organising campaigns, working with community organisations, providing training and supporting women to run for elected office
Exactly what the Women's Forum looks like, and how it will work, is something we are designing together.
We've had a couple of scoping meetings with women from around Leeds North East and are planning our first events, including:
Walk & Talk events in Alwoodley, Chapel Allerton, Moortown and Roundhay this autumn.
Online events on wellbeing and nutrition this winter.
International Women's Day event in March 2026.
