It is with great sadness that we have to report that our friend and colleague, Councillor Mahalia France-Mir, has passed away.

We were delighted to be joined by a special guest panel of Tracy Brabin, Mayor of West Yorkshire and Praful Nargund, Director of the Good Growth Foundation, as well as our Member of Parliament, Fabian Hamilton for the Leeds North East Labour Party AGM.

Leeds North East Labour Party members were out in Chapel Allerton speaking directly with residents in the Stainbeck Lane and Wensley Drive area this weekend. We were joined by Fabian Hamilton MP and our local councillors.

What a pleasure it was to be out in Alwoodley this weekend as Leeds North East Labour Party members had conversations with residents in the High Ash/Wigton Moor neighbourhoods.
