It is with great sadness that we have to report that our friend and colleague, Councillor Mahalia France-Mir, has passed away.

We were delighted to be joined by a special guest panel of Tracy Brabin, Mayor of West Yorkshire and Praful Nargund, Director of the Good Growth Foundation, as well as our Member of Parliament, Fabian Hamilton for the Leeds North East Labour Party AGM.

Labour-led Leeds City Council's ambitious woodland creation scheme will double the amount of woodland in our city, planting 5.8 million trees by 2045. We are looking for volunteers to help plant these trees.
