We’ve launched the biggest upgrade to workers’ rights in a generation with our
transformative Employment Rights Bill. We are banning exploitative zero-hour
contracts, increasing statutory sick pay, ending unscrupulous fire and rehire
tactics, strengthening day-one rights and introducing new protections against
dismissal for pregnant women. We are also investing £1 billion a year in tailored
employment and health support to help people into work.
